AVA Resort Cancun: Second Visit Review with Ocean Views, Sports Bar & Custom Tumblers

📍 Second Visit to AVA Resort Cancun

On October 27, 2024, I visited AVA Resort Cancun for the second time.

During my first stay, I joined a pre-booking program where you could pay a deposit to enjoy perks on your next visit. It’s unclear whether this promotion is still active, but it was valid at various selected resorts, not just AVA.

🌊 Breathtaking Lobby & Ocean View

As soon as you step into the lobby, you're welcomed by a wide-open ocean view. The space feels modern, airy, and full of light — a perfect first impression.

There were beautiful Mexican-style decorations, likely arranged due to Halloween falling that weekend. It added charm and cultural flair to the environment.

🍸 💃 Sports Bar & Entertainment

The indoor sports bar was one of my favorite spots. It had a huge screen where I watched a game while sipping on tequila. At night, it turned into a DJ lounge where everyone danced together.

At the far end of the lobby, there’s even a club for those who want a more energetic nightlife experience.

🍽️ Restaurants & Dress Code

Most of the restaurants were themed by nationality, but I noticed a subtle mix of cuisines on some of the menus, which was quite unique.

Some restaurants require a dress code, so when you're packing for your trip, make sure to include a few nicer outfits just in case.

🧊 Personalized Tumblers

One unique feature I absolutely loved was the custom tumbler engraving service. You can choose from a wide variety of tumbler styles and engraving designs. It’s such a fun way to bring home a personalized souvenir!

🍔 Poolside Snacks You Can’t Miss

Lastly, I have to talk about the food I had right after swimming — the burger and wings were incredibly tasty. I still think about them! If you're relaxing poolside and feeling hungry, don’t miss out on this poolside snack.
